Katie 1

All my life I have been blessed with Katies.  My two best friends growing up were both named Katie.  This was very confusing at times, but for the most part I thought it was pretty cool.  In order to differentiate between them I did the logical thing and gave them the names Katie 1 and Katie 2.  My reasoning?  Katie 1 is older.  Then later in life I got a roommate named Katie.  Awesome!  After that my niece was named Katie.  "You are naming her Katie!  I love that name!  Oh, wait, this could get complicated...".  Somehow all of my Katies have maintained unique places in my heart despite their common name.  

Katie 1, her husband Joe and Baby Sam paid Ingrid a visit last week.  Sam The Man is probably the most active baby I have ever met.  He is like an 8year old trapped in a 8 month old's body!  This may seem hard to believe from the photo, but Ingrid is interested in him (sorry Kilen!).  Perhaps she has got a thing for older men?  Prematurity does not always equal immaturity I guess...
