Dvoracek Cabin

Summer would not be complete without a day trip to Sandy Lake at the Dvoracek cabin!

This was a much needed escape for Kristy so she did not have to fret about her NEW JOB! That's right, we're both employed now as teachers in St. Paul Public Schools. Kristy will work as part time visual arts teacher, which is ideal in that she gets to continue her career path but not have to be away from Ingrid the whole day.

Daddy's Girl

The big news from the Minneapolis Roligs this week is that Brian got hired back with St. Paul schools again! Not that I didn't think he would get something, but what a HUGE relief during these economic times. Ingrid was so proud of her daddy that she decided to pull out her vintage "Daddy's Girl" overalls (circa 1979).

Tag Blankies!

After Ingrid was born she received a beautiful handmade tag blankie from our friend, Kim.  We loved it so much we put it in her isolet in the NICU.  

We were so excited to find out that Kim is starting her own business that we wanted to be the first paying customers.  When our nephew Lucas was here visiting he stole Ingrid's blankie and started sucking on it when  he was using her crib, so we decided to order one especially for him!

Rainbow's Promise

Almost 11lbs!

Ingrid had her 4 month check up on Tuesday.  Besides her shots (poor baby!) all went well.  Here are her stats:
Weight: 10 pounds, 14 ounces- 3rd percentile, 25th percentile gestational age
Length: 22 1/2 inches- 2nd percentile, 25th percentile gestational age
Head: 39.3 - 7th percentile, 40th percentile gestational age (probably from the Anderson side)

The whole preemie thing is tricky too because she is behind in some things like grabbing objects but right on track with others like rolling over and trying to stand.  Here is a picture of our favorite milestone:
