Ingrid is a pretty lucky girl to have a daddy like Brian. He is always loving her up with kisses and cuddle time. Their favorite thing to do is Kangaroo Care, something we learned in the NICU. Brian puts Ingrid on his chest and zips up his sweatshirt to keep her warm and snug. Of course Brian likes to go against the norm and calls it Koala Care. Another one of their favorites is stroller rides around the neighborhood. They most frequently visit Minnehaha Falls.
Besides all the fun stuff like bottles, bathtime and cuddling, Brian is a wonderful dad because he has made great sacrifices for his little girl. You may or may not know that ever since we returned from Malawi Brian has been working extra jobs after school and now in the summer to make sure we are taken care of.
We celebrated his first father's day at his brother and sister-in-law's house. In fact, photo credits go to Jessica (I forgot our camera!). Brian spent the morning with two of his other favorite people, his dad and brother, playing a much deserved game of golf.
